About the Angel Fund

Provides one-time emergency assistance to individuals or families who, through no fault of their own, find themselves in crisis. A third party, the “Angel”, alerts us of a family or individual who may be in crisis due to loss of work, illness or other various family hardships. All requests are reviewed and approved by The Angel Fund Advisory Board.

The purpose of the Angel Fund is to provide one-time financial assistance to people who live, work or attend church in West Chester or Liberty Townships who have an extraordinary, urgent or unusual circumstance and whose need cannot be fully addressed by any other charitable, governmental, religious or social services agency or organization. The Angel Fund Committee is made up of community volunteers who investigate the case and determine if it meets the qualifications for eligibility.

Please make sure the following eligibility requirements are met;

  • applicant must live, work, go to school or attend a church in West Chester or Liberty Township, OH
  • the need is something that cannot be fully addressed by any other charitable, government, religious or social service agency
  • the need must come from unforeseen events that do not result from the applicant's personal acts of omission or commission as to have self-created a need
  • the need requires immediate assistance to prevent further loss
  • the need is unique and a one-time only request

If you know an individual or family who lives or works in West Chester or Liberty Township who appears to need help, please call or email us. Your referral will be passed along to the Angel Fund Advisory Board for review and consideration.

Offer Your Talents

Do you have a special skill? Join our registry of local volunteers who offer their time, skills, materials and labor to provide direct support to our Angel Fund recipients.

INELIGIBLE EXPENSES:

  • Legal fees, fines or court costs
  • Payments of medical bills
  • Scholarships, educational grants or tuition expenses
