Membership

Our members make Power of the Purse possible. 

Your annual contribution of $125 funds our $10,000 annual grant, which is at the core of what we do. We are proud to offer easy registration with no fees. Additionally, our site will send you purchase confirmation and a reminder when your payment should be sent.

Typically, members pay their dues in December and that covers the full voting season of Power of the Purse. Voting in the spring, and again in the late summer, makes our members’ voices heard. Only participants who have donated $125 are eligible to vote. We accept new members all year long, but most have found it convenient to pay starting in November through our March event.

Additionally, we are exploring opportunities for philanthropic activities as well social networking and connectivity among our members. We encourage and invite your friends to attend with you. We ask that they only attend our events once without paying to join us.

Please note that membership does not include the price of our events. Those are paid as you are able to attend them. Our quarterly events are approximately two hours long and include grant updates, social time, dinner and of course: purse raffles!
