For many years, our annual Roosevelt Room Appreciation event has brought friends together while raising money to support The Heroes’ Fund. This year, we won’t be holding the event—but we’re asking you to continue that tradition of generosity by supporting The Heroes’ Fund directly.
The Heroes’ Fund, operated by Caring Like Angels and Heroes, provides assistance when one of our heroes faces an unexpected financial hardship. Our goal is simple: when one of our heroes needs help, we want to be able to say yes.
While we won’t have our usual collection of raffle baskets this year, we’re keeping one of the fun parts of the Roosevelt Room tradition by putting together a Great Booze Basket filled with bourbon, wine, spirits and other favorites.
This year, you can support The Heroes’ Fund in either of two ways:
Raffle entries are $10 each, with no limit on the number of entries you may purchase.
The winner will be drawn on Veterans Day — November 11, 2026.

If you prefer to make a charitable contribution rather than participate in the raffle, you may make a tax-deductible donation of any amount directly to The Heroes’ Fund. No raffle entries are provided with a charitable donation.

Please write RAFFLE or DONATION in the memo line of your check. If purchasing raffle entries, each $10 of your check purchases one entry. Please use separate checks if you wish to both purchase raffle entries and make a tax-deductible donation. Every dollar raised strengthens our ability to be there when one of our heroes needs us. Raffle entries must be purchased by November 10, 2026. Participants must be 21 or older and reside in Butler, Warren, or Hamilton County, Ohio. Winner must provide proof of age and eligible residency. Prize will not be shipped. Raffle purchases are not tax-deductible.
